Fossickers Tourist Park sits on the banks of the Peel River in Nundle and offers spacious four-star accommodation. With its pretty location, this park offers caravan and camping sites and is flanked by trees and set over green lawns. Four hundred kilometres from Sydney, it offers a variety of villas and cabins with river views.
Enjoy a hit of tennis on one of two courts, make use of the well-appointed camp kitchen, bathrooms and laundry, cook for the family at the onsite BBQs or relax around a great campfire.
Courtside Villas sleep up to six people comfortably in a two-bedroom, two-bathroom configuration. They’re fully air-conditioned and include kitchen, open plan dining area and verandah with outdoor setting. The whole family can enjoy the lovely views.
The River Edge Cabins provide two bedrooms and sleep up to five people. They offer self-contained kitchen, lounge, dining and verandah area. Further from the water, the River View Cabins sleep up to five people in two bedrooms. Then there’s Fossickers Standard Cabins, sleeping four.
If you’re planning on bringing your own caravan, motorhome, camper trailer or tent, our powered or non-powered sites have views over the Peel River and offer a tranquil setting in which to enjoy this magnificent part of New South Wales. There’s free Wi-Fi and the park is dog friendly.
Staff at the tour desk will be delighted to help you plan your activities. Nundle is a small town with a big gold mining past. Explore its craft, antique and homewares shops, as well as museums and the Woollen Mill – one of the last operating spinning mills in Australia. You’ll find restaurants, 25-metre swimming pool and the Peel Inn with its vast verandah.
Nundle is the spot for gold and sapphire fossicking, admiring colonial heritage and fishing at the Arc-en-Ciel Trout Farm. The Chaffey Dam also offers fishing, as well as swimming, sailing, boating and bushwalking.
