Long lazy days in the sun, coconut palm-lined white beaches, seriously stunning sunsets and Mission Beach accommodation to die for. It’s all here waiting for you and your family at Mission Beach Hideaway Holiday Village.
Mission Beach is the ultimate tropical paradise. Located approximately two hours south of Cairns and three hours north of Townsville, Mission Beach Hideaway Holiday Village has everything you need for an extended stay or a quick weekender as you explore the Mission Beach area.
Cabin accommodation consists of rainforest and ensuite villas and standard cabins, plus caravan and camping sites. All villas/cabins feature air-conditioning, ceiling fans, TV, self-catering kitchenette, and linen for the main bed.
The rainforest villas sleeps six and include a TV/DVD player, and outside dining areas with private BBQ. The ensuite villas sleep five and include an ensuite bathroom and a veranda with outdoor seating. The Standard Cabins sleeps two and have shared bathroom facilities close by.
Caravan and camping sites are fully serviced powered sites with annex pads and TV connection. Spacious, shady and grassy, they are also Dog-friendly (just let them know when booking).
Around the park, take in the tropical beauty of the many palms, ferns and other exotic trees and flowers. Once you’ve settled into your Mission Beach accommodation, check out the park’s features, including the two amenities blocks both with laundry facilities, fully-equipped camp kitchen , games room with big screen TV, and children’s playground. There’s also a large freshwater swimming pool and toddlers pool (solar heated in winter), spacious BBQ areas, internet kiosk, tour desk, and dump point.
Just across from the entrance to Mission Beach Hideaway Holiday Village, a pathway takes you directly to the coconut palm-lined white sands of Mission Beach…perfect for a day enjoying the sun and surf. Mission Beach is the closest access point for the Great Barrier Reef, less than 40km offshore. Take a water taxi to nearby Dunk Island and explore the island’s rainforests. Look out too for the rare and endangered cassowary that live in and around the Mission Beach area.
You might also like to indulge in biking or bushwalking through nearby rainforests, skydiving, snorkelling on the reef, fishing, playing golf, shopping and markets, and of course, indulging in some tropical cuisine and refreshments at some of Mission Beach’s best restaurants, cafés, pubs and bars.
