Cohuna Waterfront Holiday Park is located around three and a half hours from Melbourne at Cohuna on the tranquil shores of Gunbower Creek. A charming river town and ideal destination for relaxing and play, the park offers everything you need for a fun family holiday in the Murray River region.
With water on three sides of the park and the Gunbower Island State Forest on the other, there are stunning views of this special part of Victoria and a range of accommodation options to suit every traveller.
Cabins are self-contained and feature full kitchen or kitchenette, open plan living, ensuite, car parking and deck, with the 2 and 3 bedroom Waterfront Cabins offering stunning views along the water’s edge. Caravan/camping sites are spacious, grassy and meticulously maintained. Dogs are allowed on campsites and unpowered options are located right on the waterfront.
With an onsite boat ramp, your day on the water is easy, so enjoy water skiing, wake boarding, fishing and canoeing to your heart’s content.
Back on land, take advantage of the well-equipped camp kitchen, undercover BBQ, bouncing pillow, shaded swimming pool, adventure playground, campfire, tennis/basketball courts, and squash court. Add to that, large open grassy areas, free wifi, kiosk/store (ice and gas), an outdoor cinema, and activities program in the school holidays.
If you can drag yourself away from the riverside, Cohuna has plenty of attractions and thing to see and do. Think local eateries, shopping, golf, farmers’ markets, bushwalks along the nearby Murray River, picnics at Mount Hope, Gunbower National Park, wetlands, and the annual Big Cohuna Festival held over the Melbourne Cup long weekend.
