Whether you are just passing through on a Great Ocean Road adventure, or visiting Lorne for a longer stay to take in the vibrant community and exquisite local beaches, Lorne Foreshore Caravan Park is the perfect place to base yourself.
Enjoy tranquil river views at Erskine Park or stunning ocean perspectives at the Queens Park site. The kids will love the playground at Ocean Road Park and you’ll find mature trees and endless shade over the grassy sites at Top Bank Park. Regardless of which park you stay in, you’ll have access to a camp kitchen, BBQs and quality amenities, as well as campfires to enjoy authentic camping experiences. Campfires are restricted to Erskine Park in off peaks times only. To hire a fire pit, please contact reception prior to your trip to guarantee availability.
Visitors who book a cabin will love the river frontage outside the Erskine Cabins, which sleep up to five people. Or couples, there are modern studio cabins at the Ocean Road site, fitted with a kitchen and comfortable bed and nestled beneath majestic gum trees. The elegant Riverview Cabins range in size from the family cabin for four people to the smaller studio cabin, all with shady verandas and pristine interiors. Or choose the Parkview Cabin, suitable for four, and settle in for a cosy stay surrounded by native shrubs and trees.
During the warmer months, Lorne is a beach lovers paradise, with fantastic surf beaches nearby and safe rock pools for children to explore.
Friendly staff at the park can help keen fishers find great fishing spots, or you can simply head to Lorne Pier and cast a line.
Lorne is also famous for its arts and culture scene, with music and arts festivals staged throughout the year, and plenty of local galleries and boutique gift stores in the town.
