Situated a convenient 30 minutes from Perth, Coogee Beach on the Western Australian coast is the perfect location for an easy-to-get-to family holiday. Discovery Parks – Coogee Beach is also perfect for couples, with a choice of Studio rooms, Standard cabins or Superior cabins available, all of which sleep two people in comfort and style. Enjoy modern fittings, super comfortable beds and elegant private bathrooms and well as well-appointed kitchens so you can prepare a meal with ease.
For larger families, choose one of the Standard cabins, sleeping between 4 and 6 people. These include bunk beds for the kids and plenty of space for everyone to relax.
If you’ve brought the caravan, you can set it up on one of the paved powered sites, and then start to enjoy the facilities both onsite and around the area. Just 200m from the park is a fabulous playground for the kids as well as a coffee shop and café to grab a snack or a meal. There is also a tennis court on site, and your campsite is just a stone’s throw from the pristine white beach.
Coogee Beach is one of the beaches on Cockburn Sound, which itself is one of the few shark-netted areas in Western Australia. That means you can safely enjoy swimming in the calm waters, or set up a fishing line to see if you can catch the evening meal. If you only want to get your feet wet, you can take a long walk on the beach and listen to the waves while you soak up the Western Australian sun.
